Disaster is inevitable and inescapable presence in our world is getting old. Disasters are very familiar to us as a world community, especially people who live in developing countries. Natural disasters and social disasters are two types of disasters that have coexisted in developing countries. Both require early prevention and effective treatment.

Indonesia is one of the developing countries located in Southeast Asia with a rich culture and local wisdom are varied and diverse. Indonesia is one of the developing country with great potential which is susceptible to natural disasters in both small scale and large scale. Volcanoes is the most common disaster experienced by the people of Indonesia in recent years.

In this regard, Indonesia as a developing country that cares about society and the natural environment has a goal to build a harmony of living with disaster. This is based on the fact that Indonesia is among the disaster-prone country and society premises should be ready by the threat of inevitable natural disasters.

The most unique and different in disaster management in Indonesia erupted mountain is a serious management as the maximum effort that can be done in reducing the risk, casualties and damage that occurred after the disaster. The efforts made by Indonesia as a developing country to take the values ​​that can be learned is to utilize the local toughness and wisdom to prepare pre-disaster disaster and empowers people of developing countries in post-disaster conditions. Here is further explanation toward two specific points above:

1. Toughness and Local Wisdom Disaster To Prepare (Pre-Disaster)

It can be defined as learning that is necessary to empower people to rise from the nadir of natural disasters.

Entrepreneurship is one of its form can be found in the field of tourism and waste utilization of volcanoes lava into local products also did not rule implemented in another form. It proves that the values ​​of entrepreneurship can be applied in any condition, even if the people who are victims of disaster. In addition, it is able to push more and more the growth of entrepreneurial spirit and apply entrepreneurship in the life of society, especially people living in disaster prone areas
